Supplier Quality Requirements

 

Supplier Quality Management Systems- The supplier will as a minimum maintain and implement a documented quality system, available in the English language that is certified to AS9100 and/or ISO9001

  • AS9120 is acceptable for distributors

  • ISO 17025 is acceptable for material test and calibration laboratories

This system is subject to review by VMS Quality Assurance. The supplier will promptly notify VMS of any changes in the management representative with assigned responsibility and authority for the quality system.

    • Quality Management Systems- Less than AS9100 Suppliers: Complete and send to VMS; Supplier Quality Survey (QSF07).

 

ENTRY: Right of Entry-

VMS and/or VMS customer or government representatives will have the right to survey facilities and review all processes, subcontractors, contracted parts, procedures and records.

 

PROC: Processing or Heat Treat-

By accepting this order, Seller certifies that it will maintain a quality and delivery system adequate to supply services that meet the requirements of this purchase order, and is approved for process listed on PO at time of order per D1-4426 section I and II.

Quality Records: Completed quality documentation and records will be retained for at least 10 years and filed such that they can be readily found. Records must be clear and legible and made available to VMS or Regulatory authorities.

 

Certification of Conformance to accompany each shipment and include:

  • Valley Machine Shop PO Number

  • Part Number

  • Run Number

  • Applicable Specifications, Current Revision Level, and latest PSD Level

  • Quantity Accept and Reject

  • Statement that product provided meets the controlling Engineering and Purchase Order requirements.

  • Signed and/or Stamped by a Quality Representative

Tag and segregate all nonconforming parts

ALL DRAWINGS MUST BE RETURNED PRIOR TO PAYMENT 

 

MFG1: Parts Manufactured with Valley Machine Supplied Material-

By accepting this order, Seller certifies that it will maintain a quality and delivery system adequate to supply services that meet the requirements of this purchase order.

 

Quality Records: Completed quality documentation and records will be retained for at least 10 years and filed such that they can be readily found. Records must be clear and legible and made available to VMS or Regulatory authorities.

 

Certification of Conformance to accompany each shipment and include:

  • Valley Machine Shop PO Number

  • Part Number

  • Run Number

  • Applicable Specifications, Current Revision Level, and latest PSD Level

  • Quantity Accept and Reject

  • Statement that product provided meets the controlling Engineering and Purchase Order requirements.

  • Signed and/or Stamped by a Quality Representative

 

NO MATERIAL SUBSTITUTION ALLOWED

Return all excess material

Tag and segregate all nonconforming parts

By accepting this order, Seller certifies that it will maintain a quality and delivery system adequate to supply services that meet the requirements of this purchase order.

 

Quality Records: Completed quality documentation and records will be retained for at least 10 years and filed such that they can be readily found. Records must be clear and legible and made available to VMS or Regulatory authorities.

 

Certification of Conformance to accompany each shipment and include:

  • Valley Machine Shop PO Number

  • Part Number

  • Run Number

  • Applicable Specifications, Current Revision Level, and latest PSD Level

  • Material and Finish Certifications

  • Quantity Accept and Reject

  • Statement that product provided meets the controlling Engineering and Purchase Order requirements.

  • Signed and/or Stamped by a Quality Representative

MATL PURC: Raw Material Purchase-

By accepting this order, Seller certifies that it will maintain a quality and delivery system adequate to supply services that meet the requirements of this purchase order.

 

Quality Records: Completed quality documentation and records will be retained for at least 10 years and filed such that they can be readily found. Records must be clear and legible and made available to VMS or Regulatory authorities.

 

Certification of Conformance to accompany each shipment and include:

  • Description of Material

  • Valley Machine Shop PO Number

  • Applicable Specifications

  • Statement that product provided meets the controlling Engineering and Purchase Order requirements.

  • Signed and/or Stamped by a Quality Representative

 

STD PURC: Purchase of Standards

By accepting this order, Seller certifies that it will maintain a quality and delivery system adequate to supply services that meet the requirements of this purchase order.

 

Quality Records: Completed quality documentation and records will be retained for at least 10 years and filed such that they can be readily found. Records must be clear and legible and made available to VMS or Regulatory authorities.

 

Seller certifies that standards are purchased from authorized manufacturer and not from a third party distributer.

 

Certification of Conformance to accompany each shipment and include:

  • Valley Machine Shop PO Number

  • Part Number

  • Applicable Specifications

  • Statement that product provided meets the controlling Engineering and Purchase Order requirements.

  • Signed and/or Stamped by a Quality Representative

 

Seller agrees not to make any changes in materials or design details which would affect the part or any component part thereof with regard to:

  • Part Number Identification

  • Physical or Functional Interchangeability

  • Repair and Overhaul procedures and processes and material changes which affect these procedures without prior written approval of Boeing, and without revising the part numbers and the originals of all drawings or data.

 

INCOTERMS 2000, Addendum #1:

The INCOTERMS ™ 2000 for all orders from Buyer will be Free on Board (FOB) if by ocean and Deliver Duty Unpaid (DDU); otherwise, Boeing will pay for freight per Boeing standard routing instructions. When Buyer’s order requests delivery outside the United States of America, the Import of Record will be the Buyer placing the order. Title and risk of loss shall pass at place of shipment (i.e. for orders shipped directly from a mill, title and risk of loss shall pass at Boeing, or Boeing’s service provider’s shipping dock and Buyer will maintain adequate insurance to cover shipments at the time title and risk of loss transfer to Buyer).

Delivery of this PO to anyone other than the intended recipients(s) is not intended to waive any privilege or otherwise detract from the confidentiality of the PO. If you are not the intended recipient, or if this PO has been addressed to you in error, do not read, disclose, reproduce, distribute, disseminate or otherwise use this information, rather, please promptly notify the sender by phone or e-mail, and then destroy all copies of the PO and its attachments, if any.

 

 

DPD Requirement (Boeing):

Suppliers utilizing VMS supplied Digital Product Definition (DPD) for the purpose of manufacturing and/or inspection of Boeing product must hold written approval from VMS for compliance to Boeing D6-51991 and at a minimum completion of Attachment B DPD Questionnaire (VMS114).
